What is Orthodontics (Braces)?
Orthodontics is a dental specialty that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of tooth misalignments and jaw irregularities (malocclusions) using braces (clear brackets, transitional metal brackets, clear aligners and other appliances). Not just for aesthetic enhancement, orthodontics also serves to improve a patient’s overall oral health for a lifetime, and can even help with speech impediments. A properly aligned bite makes it easier to eat, smile and speak!
How Long Does Orthodontic Treatment Take?
Treatment typically takes 6-30 months and is dependent upon age, severity of alignment issues, and the treatment method that is used.

We offer a Payment Plan! And a special of $3,995 for full Traditional Braces
We also have an in house 12 months, 0% interest payment plan option for all Orthodontic treatments – Invisalign, Clear Correct and Traditional Braces. (12 months interest free payment options require a small deposit). Fee subject to change for patients needing additional treatment or longer treatment time. Some cases may not be accepted and referred out. This offer is for new patients only and NOT valid for prior services. Clear braces are $500 more.

What Types of Problems are Treated with Orthodontics?
Patients (children or adults) might be a candidate for braces if they’re dealing with any of the following:
- Overbite – Occurs when the top front teeth extend too far over the bottom front teeth
- Underbite – Occurs when the bottom front teeth extend too far over the top front teeth
- Crossbite – Occurs when the upper teeth come down more than just slightly in front of the lower teeth when biting down
- Crowding – Occurs when there is not enough space in the mouth to accommodate all the teeth
- Gaps/Spaces Between Teeth – Occurs as a result of an accident, injury, lost teeth or extractions which leave open spaces or cause teeth to shift
What is the First Step?
Orthodontic problems, which often result from genetic factors but can be exacerbated by environmental factors such as finger sucking, must be diagnosed before treatment begins. Proper diagnosis involves taking photographs, x-rays, and dental impressions. These painless diagnostic procedures enable us to make informative decisions about which treatment is right for you
